This set of three stools combines clean, modern joinery with traditional Danish paper cord weaving. Constructed from solid European oak, the square frames are carefully shaped and chamfered for a tactile edge, with a warm, oiled finish that highlights the natural figure of the timber. The hand-woven seats use natural paper cord in a classic basket weave pattern, offering strength, comfort, and a subtle play of texture.

Each stool is designed for flexibility—perfect as casual seating, side tables, or elegant footrests—while their honest construction and timeless materials ensure they age beautifully with use.

This compact three-legged stool is crafted from solid European oak, chosen for its strength, golden tone, and expressive grain. The design focuses on clean geometry and balanced proportions—its sharply tapered legs splay outward to provide stability, while the circular top is subtly chamfered for a softened, tactile edge.

Each leg is housed securely into the underside of the seat using angled mortise and tenon joinery, providing strength and longevity without visual interruption. The stool is finished by hand with a natural oil and wax blend to bring out the richness of the wood’s character.

Crafted from American black walnut, this mid-century inspired coffee table features tapered legs, curved edges, and integrated minimalist storage.

Mid‑Century Inspired Solid Walnut Coffee Table (Commissioned Piece)

Crafted from sustainably sourced American black walnut, this coffee table was designed to echo mid‑century modern elegance with a nod to Scandinavian simplicity. Its sweeping, tapered legs and subtly rounded top edge impart a warm, organic presence, while the integrated lower shelf—its slim supports echoing the tabletop’s curve—offers practical storage without detracting from the airy, refined silhouette.

The table is finished with a hand-sanded oil‑based wax, enhancing the natural grain’s depth and yielding a soft satin sheen that’s both durable and sensual to the touch. Measuring 1250 mm × 520 mm × 450 mm, it’s tailored for intimate living room arrangements.

These bar chairs were designed for a client to fit under her kitchen island. The frame,
made of English Oak, is designed to be comfortable and stable enough for little
people to climb them! The client upholstered the seat with a local upholsterer.
