The whiskey cabinet was designed in collaboration with the American Hardwood Export Council. They provided selected timbers that they believed were undervalued in the furniture-making industry. The whiskey cabinet has woven American red oak panel doors with American cherry frames. In the centre is a space for storing preferred drinks and has a drawer below for keeping any accessories. The main body of the cabinet is made from American red oak, a warm, reddish-brown hue that compliments the whiskey’s colour. The floating tongue and grove back panel is also American red oak.
